Description

Vetafarm Origins Rabbit Diet is one of Vetafarm’s best selling products and for good reason. Rabbit Origins contain locally sourced fresh ingredients such as fescue hay grown on Vetafarm’s own farm, specially balanced vitamins and minerals and chicory root to encourage healthy gut balance. The calcium to phosphorus ratio in Rabbit Origins has been carefully balanced to promote optimum growth and development and to assist in the prevention of long-term diseases, such as Metabolic Bone Disease.

Directions (Daily):
- 0.5-1.5kg:     1/8 cup (~2 tablespoons)
- 1.5-3.5kg:     1/3 cup (~5 tablespoons)
- 3.5kg-4.5kg: 1/2 cup (~8 tablespoons)
- 4.5kg+:          3/4 cup (~12 tablespoons)

Young, pregnant/ nursing rabbits, or those animals requiring a higher specification diet for health reasons should be allowed free access to Rabbit Origins, while mature rabbits should be fed as per the guide.

Please note that the above feeding recommendations are to be fed in addition to unlimited access to high fibre grass hay and should be used as a guide only. Be sure to check with your veterinarian for more specific information if required, particularly if your rabbit has special dietary needs.
